All Rise! Elva McCormack’s Reign At SLTC Comes To A Close
Often the first to greet new members and the trusted, familiar welcome to regulars, Elva McCormack’s reign as the face of Sutton Lawn Tennis Club concluded with a goodbye celebration on Friday. Elva’s remarkable service of nineteen years saw her guide many players, first as “child prodigies ,“when she almost ran an-after school service and from there, to the junior and senior ranks of the club. No doubt Sutton Tennis Club will miss her ever-helpful presence and she leaves behind a memorable legacy that was celebrated by all members, many of whom gathered to wish her well in her retirement. We’ll second that!
