‘Bleeper Bikes’ Pilot Project Expands With Charging Stations In Howth

Donal Phelan Head of Innovation, ESB Mayor of Fingal, Howard Mahony

ESB and Fingal County Council came together this week to officially launch the ESB eBike pilot project across three Fingal locations in conjunction with leading micro-mobility provider Bleeper, research partner Trinity College Dublin, innovation partner Dogpatch Labs and co-funding partner Interreg North-West Europe.

The pilot programme, ESB eBikes, came into operation in mid-August and will run for a ten-month period.

With three Fingal charging stations located in Swords, Malahide and Howth, these ESB eBikes add another convenient option for people choosing Active Travel to get where they’re going.

Bleeper will maintain and operate the eBikes with the charging infrastructure provided by ESB. Bleeper’s ESB eBikes scheme is available from today and is accessible via the Bleeper app.

So keep your eyes peeled and travel with care.
