Calling Volunteers For The Howth Maritime and Seafood Festival
Scheduled for September 9th, the Howth Maritime and Seafood Festival has something for everybody. Organised by Fingal, the event will include live music, bouncy castles (for the kids!), arts and crafts, family activities, tall ships and as you’d expect, plenty of the finest local fish cuisine.
To support the event, Fingal is looking to recruit volunteers to help as stewards and information givers during the festival which will run Saturday and Sunday, September 10/11 2022. Meeting at 11am and running through to 6pm, tea/coffee and lunch will be provided to the much valued volunteers.
This is an important event in the local calendar and by registering your support as a volunteer for the event, you will become a “Community Volunteer”. Volunteers will be required to attend a training/briefing session which will only take 2 hours in advance of the festival, to bring all up to date with what is happening and where.
