Cold day proves comfortable for Suttonians in Wexford
On a bitterly Cold day in North Wexford and despite an extensive injury list, Suttonians ran out comfortable winners over Gorey by 50-15.
The home side were never allowed settle by the visitors. Darragh Henry touched down twice in the first half despite playing out of position at full back. Andrew Ussher had a great game at openside and despite turning down kickable points Suttonians were resoundly leading into the break.
In the second half Suttonians continued to build the lead, their maul securing a penalty try and a yellow card for the home team in a match that was finished with a touch of brilliance by James McCourt to touch down under the posts and give the scoreline a 35 point margin.
Suttonians Men will be away to Seapoint this coming Saturday, with Suttonians Tribe away to Malone on the same day
