Dawn Walk Moves Bayside Early Risers For Pieta House
Almost 120 people gathered at 4.15 am in the square for Bayside Community Association’s Dawn Walk in aid of Pieta House and made their way along the coast road via the Tree of Life at Watermill Road to Dollymount strand while the sun rose hailing a brighter future.
Supported by the Bayside Inn, they returned to Bayside for a well deserved sausage BBQ and raised over 2000 Euros in the process.
This is a wonderful expression of support from the people of Bayside for those in need of Pieta House services and is a reminder of the wonderful community support that lives in the community.
Darkness into Light is the flagship fundraiser for Pieta House, a charity which provides freely accessible one-to-one counselling to people suffering from suicidal ideation, engaging in self-harm or to those bereaved by suicide.
