Fingal Calls For Your Say On Our Heritage
The pre-draft for the Fingal Heritage Plan 2024-2030 has commenced.
The Fingal Heritage Forum, has begun the process of preparing a new Heritage Plan for the area and would like to hear your views on what priorities or actions should be included in the new plan. With a focus on protecting, preserving as well as passing our heritage on to future generations, Fingal is looking for your input on what we have and hold, what surrounds us and engages us.
As well as a sense of place and pride in the locality, Fingal posits that this exercise promotes a sense of well-being. In any event, the transition to everything online, imposes an urgency on all to have and hold what we have, before it is all washed up by the digital transition.
Accordingly, Fingal wants to know the aspects of our local heritage that you value and want to see protected and celebrated. Information gathered during the pre-draft consultation process will contribute to the development of a new Heritage Plan for up to 2030.
