HYC Commodore Paddy Judge Leads The Welcome Party For Luke Turvey, Rocco Wright and Eve McMahon @ Dublin Airport
Irish Sailing’s marked the occasion of a wonderful result in the Junior World Championships as the team arrived home from Texas yesterday morning. Amid scenes of jubilation, the team was greeted by family and supporters and a sense of expectation now awaits future exploits for this band of mariners.
Taking pride of place were local gold medal winners Eve McMahon and Rocco Wright who led from the front to place Irish sailing and Howth firmly on the nautical map. No doubt the celebrations went on well beyond the arrivals lounge of Dublin Airport and here’s wishing the team a well earned rest before their next adventures in international competition.
