Howth As It Was – And Is
Probably one of the earliest photos of Howth, it is estimated that the above dates back to 1865. The shot shows the turn from Balglass Road into what is now Main St and the view out over Ireland’s Eye. While the road has improved, thankfully the vista hasn’t changed and was – as is.
