Look Who’s Coming To Town – And With A Bavarian Style Christmas Market
A unique Bavarian-style Christmas market is coming to Howth this year complete with fairground rides and Santa’s Post Office.
The Festive Fairground and Christmas Market will take place on the site of Howth Castle and is set to run from December 9, 2022 to January 8, 2023. It will also include Circus Gerbola, which has become a regular visitor to Howth, since the Tetrarch deal.
The area will include wooden huts and beautiful decorations in the style of a traditional Bavarian style Christmas market. There will also be plenty of fairground rides and Santa’s Post Office where children can send off their letters to the North Pole.
It comes as many would-be attendees hoping to attend the Dublin Castle Christmas Market were left disappointed last week after tickets for the event rapidly sold out.
Tickets for the Circus Gerbola and Christmas market are available from €15 per person, with family ticket packages available via circusgerbola.ie.
This is a new initiative that is set to add a much needed boost of Christmas cheer for new and regular visitors to Howth and here’s hoping for a new tradition in the making.
