Poc Fada Event Exceeds Expectations @ Beann Eadair CLG
There was huge excitement in Howth on Friday when Beann Eadair hosted 17 clubs for the Dublin Poc Fada finals. 4 competitions were held at U16 and Adult grades in Hurling and Camogie. The first sliothar was launched by Captain Christopher Gaisford St Lawrence from the steps of his home at the spectacular Howth Castle.
Players then proceeded along a challenging 2km cross country course, finishing at Beann Eadairs clubhouse for a monster BBQ

The Poc Fada event has proven to be a highlight in the GAA calendar and the course through Deerpark and its hinterland was a fitting backdrop to a great occasion. Well Done The Bens!
