Railway Union proves a bridge to far for Suttonians Tribe
League leaders Railway Union proved far too strong for Suttonians Tribe and with only 18 fit players it was always going to be a big ask in Sandymount.
Suttonians stuck to the task in the first half and made Railway work hard for their 26 point lead at the break.
However the last quarter saw the hosts pull even further away as injuries took their toll on the visitors with players forced to play out of position.
A final scoreline of 62-3 doesn’t do justice to the effort of the Sutton girls and we look forward to their next fixture on November 27, at home to Wicklow RFC.
