Baldoyle Halloween CleanUp Defies Needless Vandalism
In a show of force and to set the record straight, the award winning team at Baldoyle Tidy Towns (BTT) was out in force yesterday tending to thousands of young trees. Providing all the care required, BTT dished out a large dollop of TLC to ensure that Baldoyle’s natural environment can be enjoyed by all.
Despite losing a number of trees due to needless vandalism, the team has redoubled its efforts and extends its gratitude to the army of volunteers that put their shoulder to the wheel, by pulling out bags of rubbish from Seagrange Park, complete with sweet wrappers, bottles, cans, used fireworks as well as the entrails of Halloween parties.
This is an ongoing community effort and the team has set Sunday, November 20th for the next show of force.
