Gridlock On Baldoyle Road Set To Ease As Fingal Completes Cycle Lanes
Works continue at the junction of Baldoyle Road and Dublin Road and the resulting tailbacks have had most motorists gritting their teeth. The purpose of this part of Fingal’s project is the connection of the cycle lanes from Baldoyle Road and to broaden the cycle lane infrastructure, all part of Fingal’s #ActiveTravel Plan for the area.
The good news for road users is that the works are due to be completed on Friday afternoon. The bad news is that the cycle lanes will place further pressure on already congested road space and is likely to lead to further tailbacks………….for motorists.
