Howth Celtic 2010’s Win The Day In The Kells Youth Cup
A great effort by the Howth Celtic 2010’s saw them go all the way to the final of the Kells Celtic Youth Cup. This was a gruelling schedule that saw a 9am kickoff with the team making it past the group stage and all the way through the knockouts. The final kicked off at 7pm and the competition didn’t conclude til after 8, which meant the team had been on the go for 11 hours.
This was some shift and while the Howth team was beaten in the end by fatigue as much as by the opposition, they certainly won the day with a wonderful display of skill, team spirit and endurance – in short, they did the jersey proud.
