Howth Tidy Towns Commended In National Awards
With the result of the 2023 Tidy Towns Competition published recently, Howth Tidy Towns (HTT) set a record in achieving 327 points out of a possible 550. This is an excellent score and continues to build on a series of strong performances.
Despite high tourist footfall and a number of large scale construction projects in train, the team have managed to maintain the area and ensure its upkeep for the enjoyment of locals and visitors alike.
This is serious business and 327 points is a significant result for Howth given the national winner, Abbeyleix, recorded a score of only 376 points. Things are on the up for HTT and this achievement is a call to arms for locals to get involved to keep the momentum going!
